They met during their nine month fellowship at the Trinity Forum Academy. We were his host family and immediately aware that Caleb fancied Shannon. It was an unmistakeable adoration that only grew stronger with the passing months. We teased Caleb at family dinners and encouraged him to bring Shannon each time after. By Thanksgiving, we were certain these two were made for each other. It shouldn’t, but it always amazes me how God works in our lives. How He brings people together at the most perfect moment. This is true for Shannon and Caleb, but also true for our family. Daryl and I have been so immensely blessed to know these two remarkable people. To adopt them into our family. For our girls to have the big brother they’ve always wanted. They are both incredible and loving with our girls. My heart swells every time Caleb calls me mom. It was such a joy and privilege to capture their love in these engagement pictures. We laughed, reminisced and ate cupcakes. This weekend, along with all the people Shannon and Caleb hold dear, we will celebrate, cry & love as we witness the marriage of these two amazing people. I love you both. xoxo
Love their reaction when they see Caleb’s boss (my hubby) drive by and witness all the PDA. Of course he had to get out and snap a few shots with his iPhone to share with the other guys in the office. (I had absolutely no control over the situation but secretly loved this playful moment.)
